It started with an Airborne assault, hitting vital defences behind the enemylines. It was followed by a full scale amphibious invasion on the beaches ofNormandy. Operation Overlord was in full swing, with about 160,000 men crossingthe English Channel to land on the beaches of Normandy on D-Day alone.

Rifle companies have excellent anti-tank guns and bazookas to keep the tanksat bay. Your 57mm guns are for point defence of vulnerable areas. Dig them inbehind terrain so the enemy can’t see them and wait for the enemy to driveinto your kill zone.
