In Courtisans, you receive and play three cards on each of your turns. One isplayed at the Queen's table to sway a family's influence, which can beinfluenced positively or negatively. The two other cards are played in yourdomain and in an opponent's domain, and they can be worth positive or negativepoints, depending on their family's status – either Esteemed (+1) orDisgraced (-1) – at the end of the game. Additionally, some Courtiers havespecial powers when played and each player begins the game with a secret scoringobjective.
