Bryce Wilner's Gradient Puzzle is a vibrant way to meditate on colour. Theact of putting it together is slow and deliberate, where the colour of eachpiece is used to locate its proper position.

Areaware have used a thick stock and high quality art paper, so the puzzlecan be assembled again and again without losing its edge. The colours in thispuzzle have been arranged to suggest that there exists no precise point on thechromatic scale at which one colour becomes another.

The puzzle can be considered complete even when its pieces are disassembledand mixed together in the box.
