The world almost ended seventy-one years ago. A virulent plague came out ofnowhere and ravaged the world. For three generations, small groups of survivorshave struggled to keep the world alive. Operating from floating stations knownas “havens,” they have maintained a loose network of the largest cities bydelivering supplies to the mainland. But their efforts are no longer enough.Cities are falling off the grid and supplies are running low. The world needs agroup of heroes to emerge and lead it through this crisis. In Pandemic Legacy:Season 2, this task has fallen to you. You must reestablish supply lines and getthe world back on its feet. Along the way, the decisions you make affect futuregames. As you play, you will unlock new components, make new discoveries aboutyour world, and stumble upon secrets that could change the course of history. Nomatter what happens, though, the world is counting on you. You arehumanity’s last chance.
Off the Grid
Pandemic Legacy: Season 2 is a dynamic experience that sweeps players up in adesperate fight for survival. With a story arc that unfolds over the course of ayear, the game takes players on an epic journey filled with dramatic twists andshocking revelations. Initially, it is your task to keep the mainland running byproviding the cities on the grid with the supplies they need to fend off theplague. But soon you must venture into the unknown, scouting areas beyond thegrid. As you do, new areas of the board become open for you to explore. Thesenew regions bring you closer to learning what happened to the world and how itcan help you complete your objectives. They also contain new threats that alterthe course of your story. As the months pass, you must adapt to each newchallenge if you want any hope of saving the world.
