The A34 Comet medium tank was a development of the successful Cromwell,designed to take on the dangerous German ‘big cats’ in direct combat.Entering frontline service in late 1944, and extensively used in Korea, itproved a capable and versatile machine.
With its low silhouette, thick armour, and powerful 77mm High Velocity maingun, the Comet is a fantastic choice for a late-war British Armoured Platoon,giving you the power to deal with enemy tanks and infantry alike. Equallycapable in attack or defence, it’s the perfect core to anchor your armyaround – and if you bring two or even three, enemies beware!
This vehicle can also be used in games of Achtung Panzer!, the game ofclose-quarters tank-on-tank combat, where it gives British forces a greatlate-war punch. Full rules can be found in the Achtung Panzer! rulebook.
